FACEBOOK CLONE PROJECT

Over the past couple weeks, I've been building a Facebook clone to reinforce my HTML and CSS learning. I can honestly tell you I have been really nervous about building the Facebook clone project. HTML and CSS are the foundation and of course JavaScript but I haven't learned that as of yet within the course. These components are the basic building blocks of any website and I just wanted to make sure I had a great understanding of HTML and CSS. As I was building the Facebook clone project, my fears and struggles surrounding HTML and CSS are less prominent because I think it's from confidence building and knowing that I can code a website using HTML and CSS.

Yesterday, I put my HTML and CSS skills to actual practice by building a simple website résumé only using HTML and CSS. I can absolutely say I am able to code. Using HTML and CSS of course I will continue to become nervous because I want to be the best at what I'm learning one day, providing my web development skills to many people. While I was coding the website I felt so happy because I had no issues regarding the coding procedure. I do have a long way to go within my journey but I just wanted to post about my success so far. Every day I feel like I'm one step closer to my dreams which is truly amazing. Once I am really good at HTML and CSS I will be posting my projects onto my personal website which is mariacrometydesigns.com ... As I am further along within the course I will be making my own portfolio website. It will be connected to my personal website, the portfolio will only show weapon development projects. That way you all won't get confuse regarding the graphic design projects that are already on my website and the upcoming web development projects. I can't wait to post another web development journey. Always remember it's never too late to chase your dreams!

Until next time…
